Privacy Policy

Effective date: March 3, 2026 · 3811 Software Technologies LLC

1. Introduction

3811 Software Technologies LLC, doing business as Digital Ad Monitor, ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") operates Digital Ad Monitor, a subscription service that monitors Meta advertising performance and delivers automated reports and alerts. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use our service at digitaladmonitor.com (the "Service").

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you register, we collect your name and email address through Clerk, our authentication provider. This information is used to identify your account and communicate with you.

Meta Advertising Data

When you connect your Meta ad account, we access advertising performance data — including spend, impressions, clicks, conversions, ROAS, and related metrics — using read-only API access. We do not store raw Meta data permanently. Data is fetched on demand to generate your reports and alerts. Report snapshots are retained for up to 90 days to power the hosted report pages linked in your email and Slack notifications.

Payment Information

Subscription payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. We do not collect or store your payment card details. Stripe may retain payment information in accordance with their own privacy policy and applicable financial regulations.

Notification Configuration

We store notification preferences you configure, including Slack webhook URLs you provide for report delivery. Webhook URLs are encrypted at rest.

Usage and Technical Data

We collect standard server logs including IP addresses, browser type, device information, and pages accessed. This data is used for security monitoring, debugging, and improving the Service.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Create and manage your account
  • Provide, operate, and improve the Service
  • Generate and deliver daily and weekly ad performance reports
  • Send alerts when your configured metric thresholds are met
  • Process subscription payments and manage billing
  • Send transactional emails related to your account (trial expiry, payment issues, service notices)
  • Respond to your support requests
  • Comply with applicable legal obligations

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose other than operating the Service as described above.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your data with third parties for their own marketing purposes. We share information only as follows:

  • Clerk — authentication and identity management
  • Stripe — payment processing and subscription management
  • Railway — cloud hosting and database infrastructure where your account data is stored
  • Resend — transactional email delivery for reports, alerts, and account notifications
  • Meta Platforms, Inc. — to retrieve your ad performance data via their API, which you authorize when connecting your account
  • Slack Technologies — if you configure Slack notifications, report and alert data is transmitted to the webhook URL you provide

We may also disclose your information if required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of the Company, our users, or the public.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. Report snapshots are retained for 90 days from generation. Server logs are retained for up to 30 days.

Upon account deletion or a valid deletion request, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by applicable law (for example, financial records required for tax compliance).

It is our intent to never retain user data beyond what is operationally necessary to provide the Service.

6. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption for all data in transit, encryption at rest for sensitive data (including any third-party access tokens), and access controls limiting who can access production systems.

No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your information.

7. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights under the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (VCDPA), the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), or other applicable privacy laws. These rights may include:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Correction — request correction of inaccurate personal data
  • Deletion — request deletion of your personal data
  • Portability — receive your data in a portable, machine-readable format
  • Opt-out of sale — we do not sell personal data
  • Opt-out of targeted advertising — we do not engage in targeted advertising
  • Non-discrimination — we will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at digitaladmonitor@gmail.com. We will respond within 45 days. If we deny your request, you may appeal by contacting us at the same address with the subject line "Privacy Rights Appeal." Virginia residents who are unsatisfied with our response may contact the Virginia Attorney General's Office. EU residents have the right to lodge a complaint with their local data protection supervisory authority.

For GDPR purposes, our lawful basis for processing your personal data is performance of a contract (providing the Service you signed up for) and legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, and service improvement).

8. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies solely for authentication and session management — specifically, cookies set by Clerk to maintain your logged-in session. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics cookies.

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a child, please contact us at digitaladmonitor@gmail.com and we will delete it promptly.

10. International Data Transfers

Our infrastructure is located in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the US. By using the Service, you acknowledge this transfer. Where required by law, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) for international transfers.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice within the application at least 14 days before changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy. The current effective date is always shown at the top of this page.
